Prince says Sir John "married Elizabeth, daughter and heir
of Lord Fitz-Walter, by whom he had issue Henry, who died
without issue; whereby his noble inheritance came to be
divided among his four sisters, married, the eldest to to
Nich. Baron Carew, (according to Westcote; to Sir John
Carew, according to Dugdale), the second to Lord Zouch, the
third to Felk-Bourchier Lord Fitzwarren, of whom was the
late Earl of Bath, the fourth to Lord Sabcot of
Rutlandshire, of whom is the Earl, now Duke of Bedford. The
inheritance of Nutwell came to Zouch, who dispos'd of it to
________ Prideaux, serjeant at law; it was lately Sir Henry
Ford's, and now Mr. Pollexfen's, the chief justice's son.
Burke's Extinct & Dormant Gentry gives a confusing
discussion. It seems to mix up the generations, listing
Elizabeth as both sister and wife to Sir John, most of the
issue seem to have alternate spouses.

says something completely different, and I think is out to
lunch on this one.
