The progenitor of one line of the Morris family was Reuben Johnson Morris
born in Viriginia and died about 1855 in Elbert Co.  Mr. Morris according
to oral family hx. was originally from Ireland.  Prior to moving to
Elbert C. he lived for a time in Terrell Co. where his brother in law
James O. Taylor also resided.  RJM married Frances B. Taylor b. 1804 in
Viriginia and d. in 1889 and was b, in crossroads cem. Hart Co. Ga.Three
children were born to this union.
