‌Walter Scott and Katie Mayton were married in a religious ceremony on November 8th, 1877.  They have four sons and two daughters, named Charles Goetner, Edwin Marion, Fredrick Hollingsworth, Walter Scott ,Jr., Katie Mayton and Mary.
