Samuel Givens was born in 1774.  He died at the age of 110 on August 9th, 1884.  He was buried in Willow Point Cemetery,10 miles SW of Bridgeport.

Mary G. was born on September 15th, 1809 in Old Attakapas,Louisiana.  She died at the age of 28 on December 20th, 1837 in Texas.
