‌Moses and Sidney were married in a religious ceremony in 1814.  They had eight sons and four daughters, named James, Marion, Emmanuel, Lemuel, Charles R., Thomas Hackley, W. C., Jackson, Henrietta, Serena, Lucrecia and Sarah.
