‌David and Lydia Ann were married in a religious ceremony in 1841.  They have eight sons and six daughters, named Washington, William Benton, James M., John, Hiram Lafayette, Jefferson Calvin, David, Green, Lydia, Melsina, Caroline, Nancy Jane, Sarah and Ann.
