‌Barton and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on December 23rd, 1841 in Monongralia Co.,West Virginia.  They have five sons and six daughters, named Charles Elliott, Christopher Columbus, Lewis Addison, Moses Levin, William Perry, Hannah, Lydia Elmira, Martha, Mary, Rebecca Arvella and Salina Jane.
