Eli was born on January 19th, 1850 in Campbellsville,Taylor Co.,Kentucky.  He died at the age of 91 on October 2nd, 1941 in Blooming Prairie,Minnesota.  He was buried in Catholic Cemetery,Blooming Prairie,Steele Co. Minnesota.
