Mahlon was born on August 23rd, 1845 in Monogalia Co.,Virginia. He died at the age of 73 in 1918 in Monogalia Co.,Virginia.
‌Mahlon and Sarah Ellen were married in a religious ceremony on February 8th, 1866 in Monongalia Co.,West Virginia. They had six sons and four daughters, named Luther, Nelson, Arza, J. Roscoe, Lemley, Nimrod, Martha Jane, Hilda, Icie Dell and Lucy.
