Fields Skaggs 
Fields was born in 1828. Fields' father was William Skaggs and his mother is Martha M. Perry. His paternal grandfather was William Squire Skaggs and his paternal grandmother is Mary Pierce. He had two brothers and four sisters, named John Henry, William S., Nancy, Lucreasy, Pauline and Martha Ellen. He is the third oldest of the seven children.-
