August H. was born on December 27th, 1891. August H.'s father was Fredrick H. Peters and his mother was Mary E. Afflerback. His paternal grandparents were Karl Peters and Sophie Kirgeleis; his maternal grandparents were Johannes Heinrich Afflerback and Marie Elise Friedrich. He had a brother and two sisters, named Louis, Amanda Emily Lena and Frieda Olivia. He died at the age of 67 on January 19th, 1959. He was buried in St Paul's Lutheran Cemetery,DeWitt Co.,Yorktown,Texas.General Notes
