Mary Penelope Lay

Mary Penelope was born on October 24th, 1847.  She died at the age of 69 on December 4th, 1916.

‌Mary Penelope and James Madison were married in a religious ceremony on December 26th, 1865 in Linn Co.,Missouri.  They had three sons and three daughters, named Charles, Thomas, William Edgard, Cordelia, Martha Louise and Susie.
