‌William Bryan and Virginia Caroline were married in a religious ceremony on October 5th, 1848. They had five sons and three daughters, named George Turner, James Bryan, John Asa, William Rufus, Robert E. Lee, Sarah Jane, Laura Elizabeth and Marguerite Virginia.
