Elizabeth Sophronia was born on January 23rd, 1864 in Raywick,Marion Co.,Kentucky.General Notes
Sophronia Underwood's maiden name was Sophronia (or Elizabeth Sophronia) Fenwick. She was the daughter of Cornelius M. Fenwick & CeliaAnn (Celian) Cissell. Sophronia was born in Raywick, Marion Co. KY on Feb. 13, 1866. She married Isaac V. Brewer (son of William Allen Brewer & Mary Jane Stillwell) on Aug. 7, 1884, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Raywick KY. They had 5 children: Frances Sophronia Brewer, Alexander "Jack" Brewer, Charles George Brewer, Thurman Brewer, and Isaac V. Brewer. Sophronia's husband died in a farming accident in Wyanet, Bureau County, IL on Nov. 2, 1893.
After his death, Sophronia married Eli Underwood. They moved to Austin, Mower County, MN and had 7 children.
Elizabeth Sophronia and Eli were married in a religious ceremony on August 27th, 1894 in Sheffield,Bureau Co. Illinois. They had five sons and two daughters, named James Arthur, Oscar, Eli Richard, Gerald Martin, Edgar, Martha Ann and Maude.

Gerald Martin Underwood
Gerald Martin was born on February 9th, 1905. He died at the age of 83 on February 15th, 1988 in Blooming Prairie,Minnesota. He was buried in St. Columbus Cemetery,Blooming Prairie,Minnesota.
Maude Underwood
Maude was born in 1910 in Wolf Point/ West Point,Roosevelt Co.,Montana. She died at the age of 17 in 1927 in Wolf Point/ West Point,Roosevelt Co.,Montana.
They have four sons and a daughter, named Charles George, Thurman, Isaac Valentine, Alexander and Frances Sophronia.
