John Charles and Edith Leah were married in a religious ceremony in 1893. They had three sons and four daughters, named James R., Mark, Francis Ellis, Cora Jane, Winnie J., Bertha E. and Daisy May.

Cora Jane Ellenbarger
Cora Jane was born in 1895 in Spring Valley. She died at the age of 82 in 1977. She was buried in Elm Springs Cemetery.
