Louis I the Fair the Pious Aquitaine of was born in August 0778 in Chasseneuil, near Poitiers, Aquitaine, France.  He died in Petersaue (an island in the Rhine near Ingelheim), Germany.  He was buried in Church of St. Arnulf in Metz.
