‌Jonathan and Patience were married in a religious ceremony about 1752 in Basking Ridge, Bernard Township,  Somerset County, New Jersey.  They had five sons and a daughter, named Zebulon, Nathaniel, Joseph, William, Jonathan and Rebecca.
