‌John and Elizabeth were married in a religious ceremony about 1640 in Springfield, Hampden County, Massachusetts.  They had five sons and three daughters, named Samuel, John, Ebenezer, Nathaniel, Joseph, Elizabeth, Mary and Sarah.
