John William Mitchell 
John William was born on May 4th, 1763 in Dawston, Lancashire County, England. He died at the age of 76 on April 29th, 1840 in Jane Lew, Harrison or Lewis County, Virginia.
John William and Catherine Margaret were married in a religious ceremony in 1783 in Rockingham County, Virginia. They had four sons and four daughters, named Abner, George Teter, John Jr., William H., Mary, Jane, Paul and Margaret.
