Joseph Johnson 
Joseph was born on January 31st, 1762. Joseph's father was Griffith Johnson and his mother was Elizabeth G. Thomas. His paternal grandparents were Thomas Johnson and Catherine Griffith; his maternal grandfather was Richard Thomas. He had nine brothers and three sisters, named Benjamin, James, John, Griffith Jr., William, Daniel, Lewis, Henry, Thomas, Jane, Elizabeth and Catherine. He is the second oldest of the thirteen children.-
