Adelia Mariah Gifford 
Adelia Mariah was born on July 17th, 1867 in Rockville, Washington Co., Utah. Adelia Mariah's father was Samuel Kendall Gifford and her mother is Lora Ann Demille. Her paternal grandparents were Alpheus Gifford and Anna Nash. She had seven brothers and four sisters, named Alpheus, Cyrus, Oliver Demille, Samuel Kendall, Freeborn Demille, Ichabod Bowerman, Moses Elias, Cornelia, Sophrona, Lora Ann and Orpha. She was the second youngest of the twelve children. She had two half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John Franklin, Enos Curtis, Celesta Ann, Mahala Ruth and Ursula Jane. She died at the age of 44 on March 6th, 1912 in St. George, Washington Co., Utah.-
