Richard De Burgh 
Richard was born in 1259 in Ulster, Ireland. He died at the age of 67 on July 29th, 1326 in Athassel, Ireland.General Notes
"Richard de Burgh, 2nd Earl of Ulster, usually called the Red Earl, the
most powerful subject in Ireland, and general of all the Irish forces in
Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Gascoigne, was a great soldier and
statesman. He founded the Carmelite monastery at Loughres, built the
Castles of Ballymote, Corran, and Sligo, and eventually retired to the
monastery of Athassil
‌Richard and Margaret of were married in a religious ceremony before 1281. They had five sons and six daughters, named Edmund, John, Thomas, Walter, William, Joan, Catherine, Eleanor, Elizabeth, Margaret and Maud.
