Isabel was born in 1096 in Leicester, England.  Isabel's father was Robert De Beaumont and her mother was Isabel (Elizabeth) de Vermandois.  Her paternal grandfather was Roger Count De Beaumont and her paternal grandmother is Adeline De Meillant; her maternal grandparents were Hugues "le Grand" de France and Adelle (Adelaide) Vermandois. She had two brothers named Robert and Waleran.  She was the second oldest of the three children. She had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named William, Reginald, Ralph, Ada, Gundred and Adelian.  She died at the age of 51 in 1147.


Isabel's first family with Gilbert De Clare

‌Isabel and Gilbert were married in a religious ceremony before 1112 in England.  They had two sons and two daughters, named Baldwin, Richard, Agnes and Basilia.


Isabel's second family with Henry I "Beauclerc" King of England

They had a daughter named Isabel Hedwig.
