David "The Weaver" was born in 1705 in Dervock, Ulster, Antrim, Ireland. David "The Weaver"'s father was James "The Trooper" MCKINLEY and his mother is Rachael Niveen. His paternal grandfather was John (Ian) MCKINLAY and his paternal grandmother is Mary Galt. He had a brother named James. He was the older of the two children.
