‌Jesse and Mary (Polly) were married in a religious ceremony on December 1st, 1804.  They had nine sons and five daughters, named John, Abraham W., Anderson, Andrew J., Franky M., James N., Jesse W., William K., Joel Eden, Elizabeth R., Katherine, Mary Caroline, Sarah Jane and Frances S..
