Isaac and Nancy were married in a religious ceremony on August 2nd, 1862. They had three sons and three daughters, and also a child of unknown gender, named James Rufus, Willard, Alvis E., Viola E., Phoebe Harriett, Margaret M. and Pina C..

Alvis E. was born on September 20th, 1875. He died at the age of 1 on June 16th, 1877. He was buried in Mt Zion Cemetery.
