Roger was born about 1058 in Marche,Poitou,France. Roger's father was Roger De Montgomery and his mother was Mabel Talvas. His paternal grandparents were Roger I De Montgomery and Josceline of Pont-Audemer; his maternal grandparents were William II Talvas and Hildeburge de Beaumont. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Robert II, Arnulph, Maude and Sibyl. He was the third oldest of the five children. He died after 1102.General Notes
