After May 1631 is a duplicate of the record from Mar 1627, which is continued after the former date as the principal register. After
Nov 1690 begins, a register of "Baptisms in the Canongate Meeting-house," from Aug 1687, in which the entries are different from
those in the preceding record for the same period. Mothers' names are not recorded until Sep 1615.
Marriages: Separate records of proclamations and marriages prior to 1567. No entries Nov 1567-May 1600 and Aug 1631-Oct
1645. After Oct 1690, a separate record of proclamations Aug 1651-Feb 1673, which is followed by marriages from Aug 1687. No
entries Feb 1699-Aug 1700. After Mar 1707, the record appears to be mainly one of proclamation of Banns.
