Ruth Marie was born on January 23rd, 1911 in Indianapolis,Indiana. She died at the age of 88 on February 18th, 1999 in Indianapolis,Indiana. She was buried in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.General Notes

She and her husband, Alvin H. Sloan owned and operated Hansel & Gretal Story Book Restaurant for 18 yr, retiring in 1972. She was a membe of the Indianapolis Businesswomen's Association and Church at the crossing. Mrs. Sloan was a former music director at Glendale Church of God. Survivors: husband Alvin Sloan; daughters Sylvia Kruger, Lucinda Person; sister Pauline Allen; brother Charles Jones; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
