Demerise was born on November 1st, 1849 in Illinois.  She died at the age of 85 on January 27th, 1935 in Iroquis,Iroquis Co,Illinois.  She was buried on January 29th, 1935 in St John Cemetery,Earl Park,Benton Co,Indiana.
