George Alphonse's father was Henri Charles Lemire and his mother was Becca Laura Tessier.  His paternal grandparents were Napoleon Lemire and Clara Demers. He had two brothers and two sisters, named Maurice Ernest, Robert, Lorraine Ruth and Lucille Eilzabeth.
