Gabrielle Foucault 
Gabrielle was born about 1677 in Trois Rivieres, St Maurice, Quebec.1 Gabrielle's father was Jean Francois Dit Courchesne Foucault and her mother was Elisabeth Provost. Her paternal grandparents were Pierre Foucault and Beyronne Borda; her maternal grandparents were Adrien Prevost and Marie Marguerite Leblond. She had a brother and a sister, named Jean François Dit Courchesne and Francoise. She was the second oldest of the three children. She had two half-brothers named Jean Francois Dit Courchesne and Denis.-
