Jobst Heinrich was born on October 15th, 1724.  Jobst Heinrich's father was Johann Dieterich Femmers and his mother was Anna Maria Koelckebeck.  His paternal grandparents were Johann Heinrich Femer and Anna Margaret Birckenhacke; his maternal grandparents were Joachim Koelckebeck (Kuelbeck) and Anna Moellman. He had a brother and a sister, named Johann Heinrich and Johann Hermann.  He was the youngest of the three children.
