Thomas I Merritt 
Thomas I was born in 1608 in Yorkshire, England. He died at the age of 56 on June 30th, 1664 in Cambridge , Middlesex Co. Massachusetts.General Notes
Thomas apparently came from Kent, England where he decended from a long line of Henry's.
‌Thomas I and Susanna were married in a religious ceremony in 1624 in England. They had a son named Thomas II.

Thomas II was born on January 31st, 1630 in Wethersfield, Hartford Co., Connecticut. He died at the age of 75 on November 10th, 1705 in Rye, Westchester Co., New York.
