‌John W and Rachel were married in a religious ceremony in June 1840 in ,Fulton,IN.  They had seven sons and four daughters, named James Jefferson, William Henry Harrison, John Armstrong, George Washington, Issac B, Anthony Smith, Schuyler C, Mary Ann, Amanda J, Angeline and Marrietta.
