Mrs. Mae L. Rutherford, 85, Shelbyville, died [here] Thursday Mrs. Rutherford was born in St. Paul, Aug. 11, 1894, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Lindner. She was married Jan. 25, 1926, in St. Paul to Roy Rutherford, and he preceded her in death in 1940. [She] was employed at the McQuay Norris Corp. in Connersville and also worked at the St. Paul Grocery She was a member of the St. Paul Catholic Church. She lived in St. Paul until 10 years ago when she moved to Shelbyville to reside with her son, Gerald Rutherford. she is also survived by son, Bernard Rutherford, St. Paul; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Charles Lindner, Indianapolis, and Joseph Lindner, St. Paul; and one sister, Beatrice McCracken, St. Paul
Mae and Roy were married in a religious ceremony on January 29th, 1917 in St. Paul,IN. They had two sons named Gerald E. and Bernard.
