Edmund de Beaufort Duke of Somerset 
Edmund was born about 1406 in of Westminster,Middlesex,England. He died on May 22nd, 1455 in St. Albans. He was buried in Abbey.General Notes
Earl of Mortain in Normandy, and had the lordships of Chirk and Chirkland, in the marches of Wales, in the lifetime of his elder brother; Earl of Dorset 1442; Marquis of Dorset 24 Jun 1443; succeeded his brother as Earl of Somerset 27 May 1444; Duke of Somerset so cr. 31 Mar 1449, had several times the regency of France and the government of Normandy; He was a Lancastrian fighting for King Henry VI, slain at the first battle of St Albans fighting against Richard Duke of York.
He was also Lord High Constable of the Realm.
Edmund were married in a religious ceremony before 1432 in ,,England.
