BIOGRAPHY: Andrew Bogolyubsky, Grand Duke of Valdimir defeated and killed theGrand Duke of Kiev in about 1171.  He plundered Kiev, and added that territory to his, and moved the focal point of his kingdom to Moscow, which then became the capital of all Russia.
