Count Eberhard III of was born in 1114. Count Eberhard III of's father was Count Eberhard II of Hirscher-Sargans and his mother was Princess Maria of Stadelburg. His paternal grandfather was Count Eberhard I of Hirscher-Sargans; his maternal grandparents were Ulrich V Count of Stadelburg and Princess Wendilgard of Hirscher. He had five sisters named Princess Katerina of, Princess Maria of, Princess Hedwig of, Princess Ludmilla of and Princess Elisabeth of. He was the third oldest of the six children. He died at the age of 61 in 1175.-
