General Notes
George retired as an executive of Pullman Standard Inc. or Pullman
Standard International, I'm not sure of the company name--originally a
maker of railroad sleeper cars. George Pullman the founder had a big
railroad car making plant in Michigan City IN. [now closed] (which is
where I met Suzanne--at a regional campus for Purdue University.). George
Rousseau was a vice president of a division when Suzanne and I were
married. He may have moved up even higher before he retired. he was a
very good golfer--even late in his life... He went very fast with cancer.
I think Bill 3 played golf with him in Oct or November and he was gone in
January.
