Elijah Thomas was born on May 12th, 1885 in Sulphur Well, Metcalfe Co., Kentucky.  He died at the age of 76 on July 8th, 1961 in Indianapolis, Indiana.  He was buried in Round Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.
