‌Sophia and Jacob were married in a religious ceremony on June 29th, 1826. They had three sons and three daughters, named Henry, John, Peter, Anna, Susanna and Mahala.

Henry was born in 1827. He died at the age of 79 in 1906.

John was born in 1830. He died at the age of 72 in 1902.
