Giles Slocum

Giles was born before 1623 in Old Cleve, Somersetshire, England.¹   He died in 1683 in Newport, Rhode Island.  He was buried in Portsmouth, Newport , Rhode Island.¹ 

‌Giles and Joan were married in a religious ceremony about 1640.¹   They had seven sons and two daughters, named Giles, Ebenezer, Eleazer, John, Nathaniel, Peleg, Samuel, Joanna and Mary.
