Hello, Duke and John Whalebone were sea farers all right.
They were English felons transported to America on the
ships Rose and Alexander that carried felons from England
to America. Their names are among the passengers. However,
most of these felons were in jail because of their
religious beliefs. Shall we think the best of them? But
truly this will give you a clue as to where they came from
in England. Rose and Alexander well Documented as Ships.

Hello, Does anyone descend from Duke Wilburn of the big
fist fight in Fauquier Co., VA in 1750's or from Duke
Welborn/Wilburn of the Duke Welborn/Wilburn who married
Roxie McGee the daughter of Joel Robert McGee and Margaret
Gabrilla Moore who died in New Boston , TX and went there
with other Wilburns from MO in 1850's? These are different
men with same intriguing name and adventurous spirit.
