In 1782, Margaret is listed for supplying 525 pounds of beef for the
Revolutionary Army, and her descendants have entered the D.A.R. on this record.
Margaret was a patriot in the Revolutionary War for giving aid and food to
patriot soldiers. (DAR Patriot Index).
Managed their large estate after the death of her husband, Howson.

Margaret Eskridge in Westmoreland, VA, 1732. Margaret was born in
Westmoreland, VA 1715. Margaret(72) was the daughter of Colonel George
Eskridge and Rebecca Bonum. Margaret died 08 OCT 1801 in Pauquier, Va, at 86
years of age. Some researchers give her maiden name as Morgan instead of
Eskridge.
Margaret Eskridge Kenner was a patriot in the Revolutionary War for helping
the soldiers. She was one of a very limited number of wemen to receive the
Accolade, (Patrotic Service).
Margaret managed their large estate after the death of Howson. She is listed
in the DAR Patriot Index as providing "Patrotic Service during the Revolution".
