After the marriage to Judith, Thomas Roy justified his mother's faith because
he not only succeeded in gaining control of all of Judith's property, but also
embezzled trust funds belonging to her young son by the Rev. Kenner, without
getting caught. Her son's name was George, and to save his inheiratance from
Thomas Roy and Dorothy _________ , the court transferred custody of George's
proporty from his mother to his Uncle, Howson Kenner. George Kenner died a
rich man in 1772, and his widow, Margaret, promptly remarried.
