Elizabeth was born in November 1946.  Elizabeth's father was Claude Edward Sparkes and her mother is Esme Sheila Richardson.  Her paternal grandparents were Henry Sparkes and Alice Cable; her maternal grandparents were Walter Richardson and Emma Vickers.  She is an only child.
