Thelma's father was William Thomas Pardon and her mother was Elizabeth Jane Peace. She had six brothers and two sisters, named Ted, Frederick, Sam, Ceph, William, Keith, Ida and Agnes.  She died at the age of 78 on October 29th, 1985 in Charters Towers, Qld.  The funeral took place on October 31st, 1985.  She was buried on October 31st, 1985 in Charters Towers Cemetery, Qld.^2 2
