Judith Ogier

Judith was born on July 18th, 1753 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on July 18th, 1753 in The parish church of St. Sampson.^1 2   Her godfather was Sr Pierre Ogier des Duvaux and her godmother was Judith Robin.  Judith's father was Thomas Ogier and her mother was Marthe Cohu.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas des Landesm Ogier and Marquerite Nant; her maternal grandparents were Nicholas Cohu and Almpe Blondel. She had eight brothers and a sister, named Thomas, Thomas , Jean, Nicolas, Pierre, Henry, Pierre, William and Marthe.  She was the fifth oldest of the ten children.
