Elizabeth Ogier

Elizabeth was born on March 6th, 1800 in The parish of St Sampson on the Isle of Guernsey, Channel Islands and her baptism took place on March 9th, 1800 in The parish church of St. Sampson.¹² Her godfather was Jean de la Rue and her godmother was Rachel Trachy. Elizabeth's father was Jean Ogier and her mother was Marie (Mary) Trachi. Her paternal grandparents were Jean Ogier and Catherine Ogier; her maternal grandparents were Daniel Trachy and Rachel Mahy. She had four brothers and five sisters, named Jean, Thomas, Daniel, Pierre, Marie, Rachel, Marthe, Judith and Catherine. She was the third oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 21 on July 4th, 1821 in The parish church of St. Sampson. She was buried.¹
